Zach (he/him) is a second year PhD student in the Department of Sociology and a Graduate Research Assistant at CU’s Institute of Behavioral Science. His research interests include population health, obesity and mortality, and quantitative methods.
He has been involved in projects investigated historical changes in state-level mortality as well as historical changes in gestational age and birthweight. His most recent research interests involve the mortality risk associated with obesity, particularly the methodological and statistical challenges involved in these studies.
In 2019, Zach received his Master’s degree in Sociology from the University in Oklahoma.
