Simone Domingue is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Sociology at University of Colorado Boulder and a graduate research assistant at the Natural Hazards Center. Her research concerns the cultural and socio-political contexts in which environmental policies are implemented, especially those dealing with climate change adaptation, resiliency, and environmental justice. Her intent is to engage critically with these institutional responses in order to illuminate the mechanisms that create and perpetuate environmental inequalities.
