Information for Summer 2020 Programs

Summer 2020 Camps

Reptile Rendezvous 

Children in K-2nd grade (ages 5-8) meet other peers with autism and meet some reptiles within a supportive and fun environment. This program will be done via telepractice using the online platform Zoom. Planned activities will help them work on social communication skills, including turn taking, listening, as well as asking and answering questions on a shared topic. The last day will include a super fun visit with our partnering organization, My Nature Lab (Louisville, CO), in which the kids will get to see some cool animals virtually. 

  • When: July 14th - July 24th, Tuesday - Friday; Session 1: 9:00-10:00am, Session 2: 10:30-11:30am
  • Where: Online via Zoom Technology
  • Cost:  $100 - Financial assistance through sliding scale available based on individual need

Stuttering Support Group

For adults (college-aged and older) who stutter, we provide a supportive, stutter-friendly community. You are free to speak your mind, talk, laugh, recieve support and practice skills to better manage stuttering. 

  • When: July 10th - July 15th, Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30pm
  • Where: Online via Zoom Technology

Language Learning Disability Evaluations

Evaluation of language, learning, and literacy, school-aged children through adults.

Fluency (Stuttering) Evaluations

Evaluation of concerns about stuttering in multiple or isolated contexts, all ages.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication Evaluations (AAC)

Evaluation for use of non-oral, technology-based communication devices, all ages.

Speech Street

Therapy for children ages 4-12 who have difficulty with speech clarity and/or language development.

Clearly Speaking!

Therapy for adolescents and adults who are non-native English speakers, focusing on speech articulation and clarity.

Reading Detectives

Therapy for school-aged children who are struggling with learning to read, write, and spell.

Write On!

Therapy for children 3rd grade through middle school who struggle with written language composition, handwriting, spelling, and product development consistent with Colorado State Standards.

CAART

Assessment and intervention for adults who have sustained a concussion who are experiencing attention, memory, and/or thinking challenges as a result.
