William Kristofer Buxton , who graduated May 2017, is a young man who had vocal nodules at a young age. These nodules robbed him of his voice. After two years of speech therapy, he not only regained his voice, but he went on to major in both SLHS and Theater.

Student Academy of Audiology receives grant

CU’s chapter of the Student Academy of Audiology has been awarded a Humanitarian, Educational, and Awareness Resources (HEAR) grant. The funding from this grant will be used to continue providing education about noise induced hearing loss as well as for materials to support our chapter’s earplug program.
