Don Bell-Souder is a Research Assistant in the Brain and Behavior Lab, focussing on cross-modal recruitment and and language comprehension in the brain for individuals with hearing loss.  He received his BA in Japanese and Linguistics, and has been conducting research in cognitive neuroscience since 2014.  Current projects include an examination of cross-modal recruitment in young adult cochlear implant users using EEG, and an examination of cortical activations measured using fNIRS of degraded-signal sentence comprehension.
