In consideration of the health and safety of the CU community, our students, faculty, and staff, which are of upmost importance to us, the SLHS department will continue to host virtual (Zoom) Information Sessions for prospective graduate students this fall semester. For a brief overview of the CU Boulder campus, graduate education, and the City of Boulder, prospective students can visit the CU Boulder Graduate Virtual Tour.

The SLHS department will host four Virtual Information Sessions for prospective graduate students to the MA-SLP and AuD programs*. Each session will be hosted by a faculty member from both programs. General information about the SLHS Department, CU Boulder, and the cost of the program will be covered in the first half of the session. Prospective students will then be sorted into break-out rooms based on their program of interest. Prospective students should register for the event they would like to attend by RSVPing through the links below. Please be prepared to appear on camera at least for a brief time so we may sort students into the correct break-out room.

If you have specific questions about the program, please email the Graduate Program Manager at SLHSGrad@colorado.edu

The Graduate School has general information sessions throughout the academic year. You are welcome to attend these sessions for a general overview of campus and Graduate School. You can find more information on the Graduate School's website. Please keep in mind that these sessions are more general, but they are a great way to learn about CU Boulder.

*Please note that for the 2022-2023 academic year, SLHS is only accepting new PhD students who obtain funding on faculty grants or who are self-funded. Before you apply to the PhD program, please contact potential SLHS faculty mentors to discuss whether they are accepting new students with funding. Students interested in the AuD/PhD program are welcome to apply this year. If an applicant is offered admission, it will be into the AuD program. Students can then apply to the PhD program in future years.
