Welcome to SEEC
Located on the University of Colorado Boulder's East Campus, the Sustainability, Energy and Environment Community (SEEC) brings together more than a dozen academic programs, research centers, and industry partners under one roof. Home to some of CU Boulder's leading experts in sustainability, energy, and environmental research, SEEC is designed to foster innovation through collaboration.
The LEED-certified facility features shared laboratories equipped with next-generation analytical instruments and synthesis capabilities not available elsewhere on campus. Its adjoining 290,000-square-foot complex provides flexible spaces for teaching, research, collaboration, and community engagement. Purposefully designed to encourage interaction, SEEC creates opportunities for spontaneous connections that inspire new ideas, partnerships, and discoveries.
SEEC is open Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM. Key card access is required after hours and on the weekend. SEEL requires a key card for entry at all times.
