To solve a case, detectives need to identify relevant data, and work with forensic scientists to analyze scene evidence and draw sound conclusions based on that evidence. Become a forensic scientist for the week and put your science skills to the test to solve a variety of crimes. We’ll make observations and examine evidence at mock crime scenes, and learn how to accurately collect important evidence. We'll use biology, chemistry and physics to analyze fingerprints, footprints, soil, and hair, and use microscopes to examine fibers and other microscopic evidence. Throughout the week, we will work on a series of small cases and learn the scientific techniques forensic scientists use to help solve the most difficult cases.
