Community Councils are residence hall community governments for their respective halls. Participating in Community Council allows students to increase quality of life through tradition, identity, advocacy, programming and community development. Students also participating in Community Council get opportunities to attend leadership retreats and leadership conferences.
Community Councils are the community governments of the residence halls. Community Council is the voice of students in each building. Community Council supports their community through programs, legislation, and so much more! The number next to the name of the hall designates how many votes the hall has at the RHA senate meetings.

Senate meetings are where all Community Council senators come together to listen and decide on legislation that other students have come up with. Events going around campus are presented to the senate as well as other organizations coming and talking. Senate meetings are important components in making CU residence halls the best that they can be since they represent the students living in the residence halls. They happen in Kittredge Central Multipurpose room on Mondays from 5:00-7:00pm.
