Report a Problem with an Existing Report

Request Student Data

If you're a CU faculty or staff member in need of specific student data to carry out your assigned educational or administrative responsibilities (see Exceptions to Student Consent), you may submit the request form below.

Access an Existing Report

  1. In Internet Explorer (the preferred web browser), log in to MyCUInfo.
  2. Click on the "CU Resources tab," if applicable.
  3. In the navigation menu (upper right), click the menu icon ("NavBar").
  4. Click "CU Resources."
  5. Click "Reporting and Compliance."
  6. Click the CU-Data tile. If prompted, log in using your CU IdentiKey and password.
  7. Go to Team Content > CUBLD > Records and Registration > General Student Records Data Reports. If you don't see any reports listed, then you don't have the necessary CU-SIS access.
  8. If you're looking for a department-specific report, go to Team Content > CUBLD > Records and Registration > Department Specific Reports and open your department's folder.
Note: If you're not seeing a specific report, scroll down to refresh the list.

    Run a Report

    1. Click "Run in background," then click "Advanced" to set up your options, including the following:
      1. In the "Run as" panel, turn on "Run in background." Check the boxes for "Excel" and "Prompt me," and leave the other checkboxes unselected.
      2. In the "Advanced" panel, select the "Now" radio button and click the "Classic view" link, then click "Run."
    2. Click "Delivery," then check the "Send report by email" and "Attach the report" checkboxes. Enter your colorado.edu email address in the "To" field.
    3. When complete, click "Done."
    4. Select any necessary criteria, then click "Finish." Please note:
      1. Prompts with orange asterisks are required. The other prompts are optional.
      2. If you want all values in a given prompt, do not select anything; all values are included by default. Only check boxes if you want to refine the results.
    5. If you need to email your report, use the CU Large File Transfer system (see also Sending Student Data Electronically).
