We sent this email on the following date to students who need to correct a name error in order to receive COF funds for Spring 2024:

Dear [first],

Your College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend can't be applied to your bill because the first name you provided to CU Boulder doesn't exactly match the first name in your COF application.

As a reminder, COF was created by the Colorado Legislature to pay a portion of total in-state tuition for eligible undergrads. There's no limit to the number of students who receive it, and you never have to pay it back.

To Correct Your Record

To resolve this error, follow our step-by-step instructions to update your record by 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

Once you receive an email confirming your record was updated, follow our online instructions to authorize COF by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
