Register for Equestrian

All students who would like to participate on a CU-Boulder Sport Club team MUST click on the register link and fill out the member release form.

Organizational Meeting

This team will not be having an organizational meeting in the spring.

Club leadership 

2 Coaches as well as a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Activities Director, English IHSA Liaison, and Western IHSA Liaison.

Membership 

40+ members

Practice info 

The team practices at Tracy Reining Horses in Longmont, CO. The horses are provided by the barn.

Competition info 

6 English Shows and 6 Western Shows Competing against a five state region including Wyoming, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Colorado. Equestrian members compete in regional events across the midwest as well as regional and national competition.

National affiliation 

Equestrian is a member of the IHSA, also known as the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association.

Membership requirements 

Be a full-time, fee paying student in good standing at CU-Boulder.
Pay Club Dues of $100/semester.
Attend one regular meeting and one social meeting per month.
Lesson and horse fees total $1,450/year for show team. Individual lessons are $65 a lesson.

Fundraising 

Raise a mimimum of $200 in fundraising.

Equipment 

Horses and tack are provided by the team. Some riding extra equipment is available through the team.
