CU Mountain Fest

Adventure plus comfort! Sleep indoors and take advantage of the amenities of the bunkhouses in Keystone! Eat fabulous food prepared for you, enjoy hiking, horseback riding, river rafting, a day at the challenge course, and end each day with a hot shower. Come together with the other incoming student trips on the final night for a BBQ, bonfire and live music!

Itinerary

CU Rec Center

Arrive at the CU Recreation Center at 1 p.m. and check in at the Outdoor Program office next to the climbing gym. Welcome & introductions, spend the afternoon at the Challenge Course Experience and the evening experiencing all that the Recreation Center has to offer. You will be sleeping at the Rec Center this first night.

Students in the mountains

Depart for Keystone and unpack and prepare for a fun-filled day of inflatable kayaking on the Upper Colorado River. Spend the evening playing group games and learning about CU life.

Spend an adventure packed day exploring Summit County's beautiful landscape on foot and horseback! The day will conclude with meeting up with the other two trips for a big BBQ party and live music.

Return to Boulder and wear your fashionable (and clean!) CU Outdoor Program T-shirt. CU in the Rockies will end promptly at 11 a.m.

Pick up will be in Lot 169 off of Folsom St., just north fo Boulder Creek and the Rec Center. This lot is available for your families to park and meet you before heading to your residence hall for move in.

The above itinerary reflects all the components of CU Mountain Fest. The exact order of activities may be different for each of the groups.
