Former and current members of the Marder Group are organizing a Symposium entitled "Collaborative Approaches to Advances in Organic and Hybrid Electronics" to bring together a diverse set of his collaborators in celebration of his 60th birthday, which occured in June of 2021.
The objectives of the conference are to provide a forum that attracts a diverse audience to learn about state-of-the-art research in the area of fundamental studies and applications of organic and hybrid materials, which encompass electronics and optoelectronics broadly defined. The organizers specifically seek to create an environment where students and senior researchers have significant periods of time to interact in a casual environment during poster sessions and breaks in order to make new and renew personal contacts that have the potential to last for the duration of a career.
