Kyle Fridberg, a Fraiview High School working in the lab of RASEI Fellow, Michael Marshak an assistant professor of Chemistry at CU-Boulder and fellow at the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute (RASEI) has discovered a compound that may prove useful in improving rechargeable battery technology. Kyle's work identifying the compound, recently awarded him sixth place in the natinoal Regeneron Science Talent Search contest, giving him $80,000 to continue on with his research.
