The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience held its December 2018 Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, December 20, at 5 p.m. in Macky Auditorium. (We also have a video of the event.)

A Master's Degree was also awarded to Michael "Flux" Caruso, here hooded by Professor Irene Blair
The final Master's Degree was awarded to Holly Wakeman, hooded by Professor Erik Willcutt
A PhD was awarded to Lakshmi "Lux" Lalchandandi, hooded by Professor Tim Curran
The undergraduates then walked across the stage to have their names announced and receive a diploma (*cough* cover)...

There was the usual mayhem in the mosh pit in front of the stage as family and friends vied for photo ops
In an unusual display of well-oiled-ness, the stage-walking process went surprisingly smoothly and quickly
There were a variety of acknowledgements from the graduates--here we see a simple wave
Then there's the first-pump-with-tongue-out approach
And finally the raised-fist salute
