CU Psychology and Neuroscience Professor Leaf Van Boven (Social) and a colleague wrote an opinion piece for the New York Times about some recent research of his regarding climate change and how the phenomenon is viewed through the lens of political affiliation. Read the NYTimes piece.
He was also in the news elsewhere for this research, getting interviewed for the Colorado Public Radio show Colorado Matters. One of the conclusions of the research is that, contrary to popular belief, Republicans tend to believe that climate change is real and human-caused, but tend not to agree or endorse Democratic policies addressing it because of mere partisanship.
