If you have an older HTML website, CGI script, files or other content that was running or stored on the www-legacy server (commonly referred to as Spot) you can contact help@colorado.edu for questions about these files.

Sites Not Included

• Websites on the Web Express platform are not impacted by this. While Web Express sites also fall under the www.colorado.edu domain, they are on a completely different server and platform.
• Websites that resemble this URL pattern: http://spot.colorado.edu/~identikey are not impacted by this.
• Websites on a subdomain URL (i.e. http://experts.colorado.edu) are not impacted by this.

Important note: While spot.colorado.edu provides FTP access to your content on the www-legacy server, spot itself is not being decommissioned. Spot currently provides personal sites with the URL pattern of http://spot.colorado.edu/~identikey and these will not be impacted. The www-legacy server is technically behind Spot and why you connect using the FTP/hostname address of spot.colorado.edu and then include the directory path structure '/htdocs/yourdirectoryname.'
