Dear Members of the Denver Community,

The purpose of this message is to announce the start of our preliminary research survey for the Denver Study of the Built and Social Environment (DBASE). The survey is designed for individual participants to provide information about: Neighborhood character, personal health and health behaviors, and participation in Registered Neighborhood Organization (RNO) and other community organizations/groups. The survey has been designed with personal privacy and data safety in mind. All survey data  will automatically be collected anonymously by the Qualtrics survey software, provided by the University of Colorado, Boulder.

We have made some great connections since our last Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) meeting and there is a lot of interest and excitement about the project. This is the next big step in the research process and it is very important that we have as much input as possible from as many communities in the Denver area as possible. Please feel free and encouraged to share the survey link with members of your local RNO. Below the signature of this email, we have provided an email script that you can send out to individual RNO members. It provides more detail on what the survey will ask questions about and the purpose of the research. Thanks again for being such amazing community research partners.

If you have any questions or comments about the survey, please feel free to contact the DBASE team at dbase@colorado.edu at any time.

Thank you all in advance, we appreciate your time very much, and we look sharing the results with you and your community members as soon as possible.
