All TCP students are eligible and considered by a committee for the below fellowships and awards. Some offer financial assistance while others are prestige-based.

  • Accenture/Butterfield Graduate Fellowship - To provide graduate fellowships to students enrolled in the TCP program at CU Boulder in memory of Brian Butterfield. Restricted to students with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need.
  • Amy Barnes Frey Fellowship - To provide graduate fellowship support for the TCP program, and the CU Boulder Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering Department.
  • James Claggett Memorial Fellowship - To provide graduate fellowships in the TCP program at CU Boulder in memory of James Claggett.
  • George A Codding, Jr. Memorial Fellowship - To support scholarships and fellowships for students in the ITCP program at CU Boulder in memory of Dr. George A. Codding, Jr.
  • Esther Sparn Fellowship Fund - To provide scholarships benefiting students in the TCP program at CU Boulder in honor of Esther Sparn.
  • Racal-Milgo Award Excellence - To provide annual scholarships to graduate students in the TCP program at CU Boulder. Students must show financial need.
  • William E. Rapp Fellowship - To provide graduate fellowships to students who show an interest in educational telecommunications in the College of Engineering & Applied Science at CU Boulder.
  • Society of Telecom Scholarship - To provide tuition support for students enrolled in the TCP program at CU Boulder.
  • Tele-Communication Association Graduate Fellowship - To provide tuition support for students enrolled in the TCP program in the College of Engineering & Applied Science at CU Boulder. Awarded to a student with an outstanding academic record and demonstrated financial need.
