TCP's Certificate in Wireless Engineering is available to current CU Graduate Students and nondegree students seeking to gain wireless technology and communication fundamentals and hands-on experience with current tools, methods, and technologies. This certificate is available on-campus only.

Course Requirements

The following 4 courses (12 credits) are required to earn the Professional Certificate in Wireless Engineering:

  • CYBR 5200 Introduction to Wireless Systems (3 credits) Fall only
  • Any 3 of the following courses (9 credits in total):
    • CYBR 5010 Fundamentals of Data Communication Fall & Spring
      • Prerequisite course for CYBR 5200, may be waived with instructor permission
    • CYBR 5220 Wireless Local Area Networks Spring only
    • CYBR 5230/5260 Wireless Systems Lab Fall only
    • CYBR 6210 Wireless and Cellular Systems Spring only
