Dave Archambault presenting at WIBF“Unity is power. Standing with your brothers and sisters when they are faced with adversity brings a sense of calmness because we always need that support and when we see something that is not right and it resonates with us, one of the things that we can always do is acknowledge it and stand with those who are faced with it."

Archambault also shared details on FPIEP’s recently released case study Social Cost and Material Loss: The Dakota Access Pipeline and discussed the need to build relationships to connect indigenous projects with investors worldwide. His speech was covered by local media outlets including Māori Television, the Rotorua Daily Post, and Radio New Zealand (RNZ).

About the WIBF
The World Indigenous Business Forum is a platform that engages indigenous people in global economic discussions. The Indigenous Leadership Development Institute launched the first ever WIBF in 2010 in partnership with and at the request of indigenous leaders of Canada. The WIBF 2010, which was in New York City, created demand for subsequent gatherings and it has become an annual event.
