Program Timeline
The program consists of 45 credit hours of computer science courses. You have the flexibility to start any term—fall, spring, or summer — and you can study from anywhere in the world.
We offer several pathways to completion, including a 2-year plan, a 3-year plan, and an accelerated plan to earn the degree in under 2 years. We recommend that working adults follow the 2- or 3-year degree plan.
Our curriculum provides a strong foundation to prepare students for career success. The program offers courses that teach in-demand industry skills, such as Python and C++ coding languages, Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence.
Throughout the program you will have access to engaged faculty members and an Academic Advisor who are focused on helping you succeed in and out of the classroom.
We encourage you to connect with them during your time in the program to get the most out of your experience at CU Boulder.
As an eCommerce business owner, I rely on software tools to help automate and run my business, and I have lots of ideas for new tools or improvements to existing tools. I was excited to pursue a CS degree to work on tools to help other business owners.
