Current PhD student
Department of Linguistics

I am a PhD student in the linguistics department. My research interests are situated in sociocultural linguistics; I study whiteness, masculinity and mock languaging practices of the alt-right movement online. Among the more “mainstream” fields of linguistics, my research engages with syntax, discourse analysis, frame analysis and metaphor.
