Graduated with MA in 2020

I began my MA in linguistics at CU-Boulder after moving back from Italy, where I lived for two years upon completing my undergraduate degrees in French and public relations.  In Italy I worked on a team to found and direct CrossTalk — an English-teaching outreach program outside of Rome for students of all backgrounds and nationalities.  It was through these humanitarian efforts that I became interested in cross-cultural communication and trust building.  My research interests lie at the intersection of language, cognition, and culture, with an additional interest in the cognitive benefits of bilingualism.
