CUI Boulder postdocs that have developed COVID-19 solutions are invited to apply for the Pandemic Hyper-Accelerator for Science and Technology (PHAST) program by May 21. The program seeks to rapidly spin out pandemic innovations into new startup companies that will avail new products and services.

Participants in the six-month PHAST program receive entrepreneurial training, funding and mentorship altogether worth over $75,000.

There are five major benefits:

  1. An experienced Entrepreneur in Residence will be assigned to each team/PI to meet early commercialization milestones.
  2. Participation in a series of training workshops to create and launch a business.
  3. Attendance in the weeklong, nationally-renowned “HyperAccelerator” run by Rockies Venture Club.
  4. Access to a network of national investors.
  5. Up to $25,000 grant upon program completion, for remaining technical POC in the lab or startup expenses.
