OPA Workshop

Professional Development Tracks

The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) and Graduate School have partnered to offer a series of professional development opportunities in the areas of Research & Writing, Professionalism, and Career Exploration & Preparation – academic careers and prepping for careers beyond academia. These workshops will be offered throughout the academic year. The programs are designed to help graduate students and postdocs identify and expand core competencies and skills, explore the diverse career options available to them, and to develop effective job search strategies. Through attending and participating in these sessions, students will be able to earn training in academic core competencies while they develop transferable skills to help them in their professional and academic development.

Overview and Requirements

You must attend four track-specified workshops during your time at CU Boulder. These workshops are not for credit. For this pilot program, you do not need to apply. To determine your status on securing a particular track, email opa@colorado.edu.
