If you are enrolled in PRLC 1810/1820 and the lecture/recitation conflicts with a scheduled exam for another course, you should proceed as follows:

Talk with the professor of the course with the scheduled exam to see if there is an alternative testing time - explain that you have an academic conflict.

  • If there is an alternative exam time, please take the exam during this time. No further action is required.
  • If the alternative exam time conflicts with another course - ask your professor if you can take a proctored exam, then fill out the form below
  • If there is no alternative exam time - ask your professor if you can take a proctored exam, then fill out the form below.
  • If there is no alternative exam time and your professor will not allow you to take a proctored exam, talk to your PRLC 1810/1820 CA and Dr. Shepherd Macklin to arrange make-up work, etc.

Please talk to your professors before submitting proctor requests.

Once you submit a request, you will get an email from the Program Manager (Jessie Kasynski) about how to proceed further.  Usually, there are many options for mitigating time conflicts between courses.
