Originally from California, I received my BA from UC San Diego in International Studies, and because of an exciting study abroad experience in Japan and a few years teaching in Taiwan, I decided to pursue my MA in International Education in Vermont. After working in a study abroad office in Connecticut and for a gap year program in Massachusetts, I took a role as an Academic Coach at a healthcare university in Boston, where I worked with STEM and pre-health majors. I am passionate about helping students grow, learn, engage, access beneficial resources, and discover their paths to success!
I came to Colorado by way of a fateful snowboarding trip a few years back; like many others, I fell in love with the mountains and decided Colorado felt like home. It took a few years, but my partner and I finally made the leap, and I couldn’t be happier! Outside of work, I love climbing/adaptive climbing, snowboarding, drinking green tea, searching for hot springs and secret camping spots, and watching the prairie dogs on the trails near my house. I am also passionate about climate change mitigation and sustainable practices!
