Theo Horesh

I am returning to the Masters program to finish up after having left  to open a vegetarian cooperative  over a decade and a half ago. My focus is in ethics and political philosophy, and toward that end I have written a few books for a very small, mostly academic press on how we might better grapple with complex and overwhelming global events like genocide and climate change.

I am a longtime meditator and regularly write for more popular journals on human rights and other pressing global issues. I frequently travel to the Middle East and the U.K. where my girlfriend lives. And I spend my days reading and writing in the Trident Cafe, where I maintain a philosophy discussion group that meets most Sundays at 6:30pm and is welcome to the general public and everyone in the department.
