I got my B.A. in philosophy from the University of Chicago in 2008 and my Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame in 2015. I specialize in ethics and epistemology. I have taught at Notre Dame and Kansas State; this is my first semester at CU Boulder.

I grew up in Amherst Massachusetts, and have also lived in Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, New York, and Texas, as well as Freiburg, Germany and Budapest, Hungary. I’ve spent the last five years living in Austin Texas but plan on moving to the Denver/Boulder area late this fall. I enjoy reading, cooking, rock climbing, and philosophy (of course).

In Fall 2022, I’m teaching Symbolic Logic (PHIL 2440).
