Chad Vance
I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the College of William & Mary. I have a B.S. in astrophysics from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Colorado.

My research primarily explores the implications of our metaphysics for other areas of philosophy, such as ethics, epistemology, and the philosophy of religion. My work has appeared in the journals, ErkenntnisRatioReligious Studies, and the Journal of Moral Philosophy, among others.

I am a dedicated, award-winning teacher, known for my enthusiasm in the classroom. Feedback from students and colleagues has been consistently outstanding. Never one to pass up the opportunity to broaden and diversify my teaching expertise, I have had the pleasure of teaching a wide range of courses, including Environmental Ethics, Bioethics, Business Ethics, Critical Thinking, Symbolic Logic, Metaphysics, History of Early Modern Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Philosophy and Technology, and many others.
