Philip Choi

Philip Choi joined the department after completing his B.A. and M.A. at Yonsei University in South Korea. His main research interests are in the history of epistemology and metaphysics, especially from later medieval to early modern period.

He is currently writing a dissertation on central concepts of later medieval philosophy, such as knowledge (scientia), certainty (certitudo), and evidentness (evidentia), and debates concerning how to understand these concepts.
