Pendulum director Clay Allen's And Yet it Moves will receive its premiere by the Boulder Symphony on January 30th and 31st

DMA composer Ben Morris received the grand prize commission from the New York Youth Symphony First Music Jazz commissioning program and a commission from the Colorado State Music Teachers Association (CSMTA). He will be attending the Red Note Music Festival at Illinois State University in February, composing a work for NOW Ensemble.

Freshman composer Spencer Stepanek will have her piece Fervor premiered by the Rocky Mountain Brassworks at their February concert. Having placed 1st in their annual Colorado Collegiate Composition Competition (CCCC), Spencer has been awarded a scholarship and a live performance of her piece. The concert will be held February 16th, at 2:00pm at the Broomfield Auditorium in Broomfield, Colorado. DMA composer Max Wolpert's Carnival of Curiosities, commissioned by Trebuchet Wind Trio, will premiere on January 30 at University of South Alabama.  His arrangements for bluegrass group DePue Brothers Band go up with Key Chorale of Florida on January 11–12.  Max also released two videos from his 2019 collaboration with Jayme Stone and the Breckenridge Music Festival.
