Philosophy
Eric is interested in the intersection of Eastern and Western philosophy and finding comparative points between Buddhist and Taoist thought and the traditional Western philosophical canon. His research involves theories surrounding self-identity and the no-self thesis. He has additional interests in normative philosophy, the study of friendship, and personal autonomy. In his spare time Eric enjoys playing with his cat and composing poetry.
