Service Reported Restored at 5:32 p.m.: Microsoft has indicated they have completed the rebalancing and service has been restored. They will continue monitoring for reoccurance. Thank you for patience.

Service Issue Updated at 4:35 p.m.: Microsoft engineers are rebalancing active service load in order to remediate impact. As this process progresses, affected users will experience incremental restoration.

Service Issue Updated at 2:07 p.m.: Microsoft is reporting that the slow send/receive problem is a known issue. The investigation determined that a portion of infrastructure which stores mailbox data has become non-responsive due to high resource utilization. Engineers are analyzing log data derived from the infrastructure to determine the best remediation plan. Affected users are experiencing intermittent general latency when accessing or using the Exchange Online service. More information will be provided here as it becomes available.

Service Issue Reported 11:45 a.m.: OIT has learned that Microsoft's Exchange Online service is running slowly for sending and receiving email, both in the browser and in Outlook. We have reported this issue to Microsoft. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
