Amy received a BS in Computational Mathematics from Michigan State University and an MS and PhD in Mathematics with a specialization in statistics from UCLA. After graduate school, she worked as an assistant professor at Carleton College in Minnesota before moving to Colorado and working at CU Boulder. Prior to joining ODA in April 2019, Amy worked in various departments and roles across the CU Boulder campus – as an Instructor for the Applied Mathematics Department in the College of Engineering & Applied Science, the director of research, planning & assessment for the School of Education, and as the director of strategic planning & assessment for Housing & Dining Services within the Division of Student Affairs. Amy is extremely excited to be a part of the institutional area within ODA and help contribute toward assessment planning, survey administration and FCQ efforts across the CU Boulder campus. Outside of work, she enjoys watching movies, binge-watching a good TV series, hiking, and running with her wonder dog, Evie.
