About ODA

The Office of Data Analytics (ODA) houses the Analytics Engineering, Assessment, Insights, and Measurement (AIM), Data Science, Faculty Information System (FIS), and Institutional Research (IR) groups. ODA’s mission is to foster an understanding of institutional knowledge. This is done by transforming data into actionable intelligence to aid decision-making processes throughout the university. Some offerings include department- and campus-level surveys, faculty course questionnaires, and data collection, analysis, and visualization.

Committees

The ODA committees were formed to intentionally collaborate across campus and better serve CU Boulder. Committee focuses include Survey, Analytics, Institutional Research Seminars and Higher Ed Research Review.

ODA is a part of Finance and Business Strategy (FBS). FBS works to ensure the University of Colorado Boulder has a strategic, systematic, and comprehensive approach to all areas of business and financial management.
