Graduate students want to address complex social and environmental issues through interdisciplinary approaches that are responsive to communities’ concerns. However, students don’t always know how to get started or need help getting connected. The goal of this initiative, part of Campus Compact’s Student Co-Design Team program and driven by CU Boulder graduate students, is to map existing opportunities on campus and to design a coordinated ecosystem for students to pursue community-engaged research, teaching or creative work.
Goals:
- Create an online hub to support skill-building
- Cultivate students’ capabilities for mutually beneficial and reciprocal community-engaged scholarship
Grow networks of peers, mentors, allies and partners
