Ian Stafford

Ian Stafford is a first year Environmental Policy student who hails from North Carolina originally. He received his undergrad from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he studied Parks and Tourism Management with a focus on outdoor adventure and outdoor education.
 

Shantelle Reamer

Shantelle Reamer

Shantelle Reamer is a graduate student in the Sustainability Planning and Management specialization. Her current research is focused on uncovering innovative approaches to sustainable transportation in response to rapid urbanization. Shantelle received her BS in Environmental Science with a focus in Limnology from the University of Washington.

Sustainability at CU-Boulder

The University of Colorado Boulder has a long history of global leadership in sustainability. From being the first university to establish a recycling program, to being the first university to rank “gold” through the Sustainability Tracking Assessment and Rating System (STARS). Partners on the campus include the Environmental Center, the Office of Campus Sustainability, Facilities Management, Housing & Dining Services, students, faculty, staff and community members.

Boulder is located 30 minutes northwest of Denver, nestled in the foothills where the rolling plains meet the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The City of Boulder sits 5,430 feet above sea level and enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year. Boulder offers something for everyone, from hiking or biking through our 300 miles of trails and 45,000 acres of open space, to people watching at an outdoor cafe or microbrewery on Pearl Street, to catching your favorite local band at the Fox Theater.
