Laura’s professional experience has focused on environmental education and sustainable food systems. She has worked with a variety of nonprofits in programmatic and communications roles including Green Guerillas, a community garden-focused advocacy and organizing group in NYC, and Farm Commons, which provides farmers with proactive legal counsel to navigate agricultural regulations and build resilient farm businesses. She has devoted her career to ensuring that sustainability resources, environmental education, and access to nature is available to all.
Laura earned her B.A. in English at Emory University and her M.A. in Environmental Education with a concentration in Sustainable Food Systems from New York University.
