Welcome to the Masters of the Environment Graduate Program.

The Masters of the Environment (MENV) is a professional master’s program that partners with units and disciplines across the Boulder campus including the Environmental Studies Program, the Environmental Design Program, Colorado Law, the Leeds School of Business, and the Department of Economics. The MENV Program also partners with external organizations and institutions from across a multitude of industries. It is a 17-month, cohort-based, professional graduate degree  program designed for individuals seeking an edge in today's competitive marketplace. CU Boulder’s MENV  Program will  prepare  leaders  at the local, state, national, and global levels to sustain the long-term health of the biosphere. MENV graduates will apply interdisciplinary knowledge and build community in ways that achieve fair and effective solutions to environmental and social problems and promote thriving human and natural communities, balancing concerns for environmental health, economic well- being, and social equity.

Whether you’re returning or new to MENV/CU, we appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge and expertise with our students. As you familiarize yourself with the MENV, we encourage you to review the mission, vision, and values that drive our program.
