Note from Edition 11: *Next steps if a student discloses they have COVID-19 If a student discloses to an instructor that they are ill (or tested positive) with COVID-19, the instructor should contact the CU Boulder Public Health Office to determine any next steps required. The instructor should not announce to the class that the student (or “someone in the class”) has COVID-19, as this is either directly or iindirectly sharing a student’s private health information with the class.*
We are returning to a traditional in-person experience at CU Boulder for the fall 2021 semester, with a few continuing precautions. The fall academic calendar will return to normal, including fall break. Fall semester classes will begin Monday, Aug. 23. Learn what to expect during the fall semester and how best to prepare.
In support of the university’s commitment to health and safety, CU Boulder will require faculty, staff and students to receive the COVID-19 vaccine before the start of the fall 2021 semester. The deadline for all CU Boulder students, staff and faculty to complete the vaccine requirement process is Sept. 15, 2021.
