My name is Chad Nussbaum and I am the student council representative for the Urban Resilience and Sustainability Specialization. I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida and studied Political Science and Sustainability at the University of Florida (Go Gators and Buffs!) as an undergraduate. After graduating in 2020 into very uncertain and strange circumstances, my passion for sustainability and resilience led me to jobs such as managing an aquaponics facility as well as pursuing a graduate program where I could expand my knowledge of urban sustainability in a great community of like-minded people. This resulted in becoming a student in our awesome MENV program, where I am studying and engaging with land use planning/development as well as sustainable energy systems to advance my career.
