Supports Idea Forge and Design Center Colorado programs through finance, HR, procurement, student support and training, and contract/legal coordination.
What I enjoy most about working for CU Boulder
I enjoy the variety of tasks that I oversee and the interaction I have with students and sponsors. I assist in coordinating sponsor contracts with the Office of Contracts and Grants to bring in funding to our program. I also interact with students through financial training and oversight of team budgets.
Bio
Lauren Wheeler attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and received her master's degree and bachelor's degree in Accounting and holds a CPA. She has worked at KPMG and worked several years at Hyatt Hotel Corporation in Chicago, IL, working in corporate accounting and SEC financial reporting. She is a mother of two and enjoys her yoga practice.
