National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU)
The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program supports active research participation by undergraduate students in any of the areas of research funded by the National Science Foundation.
NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program
The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master's and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions.
The Leadership Alliance - SR-EIP
The Summer Research Early Identification Program (SR-EIP) is a fully paid summer internship that provides undergraduates with training and mentoring in the principles underlying the conduct of research and prepares them to pursue competitive applications to PhD or MD-PhD programs.
Colorado Diversity Initiative
The Colorado Diversity Initiative, within the Graduate School, oversees several programs on the CU Boulder campus that promote diversity among science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs. Through this initiative, we help undergraduates prepare for graduate school, offer learning and mentoring opportunities for graduate students, and provide broader impacts research support for faculty and staff.
SACNAS
There is a future where STEM reflects the demographics of our country, so the field is better equipped to solve our world's most pressing problems. Through our people, programs, and partnerships, SACNAS has taken a radical approach to lead with culture and identity as the means to achieve true diversity in STEM.
