Gabriel Lopez earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from California State University, San Bernardino. He is a proud Latino and son of a Mexican immigrant, and was the first in his family to earn an undergraduate degree and attend graduate school. While he is still a mathematics enthusiast, he now works with the McNair Scholars to help other first-generation or underrepresented students like himself succeed in their academic careers.
