What is MASP?

The Miramontes Arts & Sciences Program is an inclusive scholarship and academic enrichment program for traditionally underrepresented and/or first-generation college students in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder.

What is LINC?

Learning, Inclusion, Networking, & Community (LINC) is a mini bridge program that consists of community buildling activities and academic workshop sessions. LINC is an engaging weekend retreat that will provide opporutnitiy for students to build community (meeting other new MASP students and connecting with MASP peer mentors) and to reflect on their time at CU so far. 

How much does the program cost?

It is free for students to participate in LINC! The cost of room, meals, activities, and instruction are all included upon acceptance into LINC.

If I attend LINC, will I be able to receive the MASP scholarship after?

Students who successfully complete LINC will become eligible to receive a full MASP scholarship ($ 2000 per year) starting that semester.

How do I apply to LINC?

The application for LINC generally opens in late Fall semester of a given year. Please email masp@colorado.edu for more information.

When is the application deadline?

LINC has a rolling application in the Fall semester, and closes in December. Please email masp@colorado.edu for more details.

When will I be notified about the decision?

You will typically be notified at the end of the Fall Semester ( 3rd week of December).

Is there a stipend for participation?

Yes. Upon completion of the program, each student receives a $250 participation stipend.

How is the stipend issued?

The stipend is issued as a check addressed to the student.

When is the stipend issued?

The stipend is issued as a check after completion of the program, within a few weeks of completion.

Do I have to use the stipend for tuition?

No. The stipend is issued as a check to be used at your discretion and can be used on anything of your choice.
