MASP students can set up an appointment with their mentors through Buff Portal (https://buffportal.colorado.edu/).

Please visit our updated participation requirements page.

Please set up an appointment to meet with your MASP faculty mentor to discuss alternative/flexible ways to makeup for the participation requirements.

Students can check their participation points on MASP's Canvas page under Assignments. Please keep in mind that the participation points are uploaded on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
In case of error, we highly encourage students to personally keep track of their points.

If there is an error with your participation points, please contact the Administrative Assistant.

If you have any friends or family members you would like to recommend to MASP, please refer them to the How to Join MASP page.

  • High school seniors/incoming first-year students can apply to PEAC.
  • Incoming transfer students can apply to STEP.
  • Current CU students can apply to LINC.

The MASP office is located in Porter Biosciences, room B116.

Students can register for a MASP class by sending the MASP team an email (masp@colorado.edu) with the course name and number that they would like to sign up for during enrollment season.

Community Assistant weekly hours will be shared via the newsletter and Slack announcements.

Yes, current MASP students can apply for additional scholarship opportunities by completing the general scholarship application on Buff Portal.

All MASP students can apply to be a peer mentor for our bridge programs, PEAC, STEP and LINC. Applications usually open in December/January for PEAC & STEP mentorship and in September/October for LINC mentorship.

Any current MASP students are welcome to attend a club meeting/event at anytime!
Please visit our Student-led Program page to view the various MASP clubs and to see the contact information to learn about the event/meeting schedule.

LINC (formerly known as Mini-PEAC) is MASP's weekend bridge program. Those who joined MASP as current CU students will be invited to participate in LINC.

For students who joined MASP as current CU students

  • How many MASP classes do I have to take?

If you are joining MASP as a second-year student, you will be required to take 3 MASP classes instead of 4. Third-year students will need to take 2, and fourth-year students will need to take 1.
