The LMS Evaluation Initiative is made up of four committees, with faculty and student representation from our array of schools and colleges. Both undergraduate and graduate students are represented, in addition to staff from within the Office of Information Technology and beyond.

Purpose

  • Advocate for the LMS Evaluation and Selection Project throughout the campus community
  • Foster faculty participation in the LMS Evaluation and Selection Project
  • Advise the LMS Evaluation and Selection Project Lead Team and Working Groups

Purpose

Determine the essential characteristics (e.g., simplicity) and functions (e.g., gradebook) of an LMS and how best to assess these features. Conduct an evaluation from the teaching, learning, and administrative lenses, and after their review, advise on which LMS to select.
